Volunteers from the Friends of Dalry Cemetery will be on hand on Sunday 26th September 2021 as part of Doors Open Days weekend to answer questions about their work and the history of the Cemetery and offer free guided tours of this unique site.
Please note the Cemetery lodge house is a private residential property and will NOT be open to the public during Doors Open Days.

We’ll be participating in Doors Open Days weekend on Sunday 26th September when our volunteers will be offering guided walks every hour from 10.00am to 4pm. An exhibition of recent archaeological finds will also be on display at the Cammo Estate Visitor Centre.
Starting at the Visitor Centre, at the entrance to the Estate on Cammo Road, these walks will last approximately two hours. The route around the Cammo Estate will be on paths for much of this time, but sensible footwear would be required.
In order that each group is kept to a manageable size, participation in a tour must be pre-booked at the link below.

You are invited to visit our Club on Sunday 26th September between 12:30 and 16:00.
There will be a one way system operating through the Rose Garden and around the Green with access to view the upstairs part of Clubhouse.

Prestongrange Museum is open 7 days a week from 11.30am until 4.30pm during the summer months. Due to the late opening this season we are extending our seasonal opening date until 31st October.

During Doors Open Day Weekend we will be hosting regular guided tours of the Museum site and have a variety of children’s crafts on offer. We also also have a lovely takeaway cafe selling hot and cold drinks, freshly filled sandwiches/wraps/rolls, Luca’s ice cream and a selection of cakes and snacks.

This year you can visit Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop by pre-booking below onto one of the guided tours happening at 11am, 1pm and 3pm on Saturday 25 September. The tour will be led by a member of the team and will give you insight into the specialist workshop facilities as well as the artist’s projects and commissions happening around the building.
Access to the inside areas of the building will only be by bookable guided tour but you can visit the site and see the artists’ commissions between 11am – 4pm. These artists’ projects include Alaya Ang & Hussein Mitha’s sound work in the Beacon Tower; Andrew Gannon’s exhibition in our street view gallery; Lucy Wayman’s public artwork above the cycle path and our ongoing Billboard for Newhaven project.
