About us
Founded in 1875, the Cockburn Association (Edinburgh Civic Trust) is the country’s oldest independent conservation charity and we need your assistance toward our continuing work of protecting, preserving and promoting the civic amenity and built and natural heritage of Edinburgh.
We receive no core funding from state or local government and rely upon the donations of supporters and members to continue delivering events such as the beloved annual free Edinburgh and East Lothian Doors Open Days event.
Please do consider supporting our ongoing work by making a small donation here or, better yet, perhaps become a member here.
