Museum on the Mound will be open for free, in-person visits on Saturday 25th, from 1pm-5pm.

You’ll be able to see our newly refurbished displays on the history of Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Bank and, Covid restrictions allowing, take part in various free activities including coin-striking, badge-making, object handling and book binding.

Please note that only the museum will be open to the public. No access is available to the main Head Office building.

For Doors Open Days 2021, we will be open for in-person pre-booked guided tours on Saturday 25 September 2021.

The tours will take place at 11.00am, 11.30am , 12.00noon, 12.30pm, 1.00pm, 1.30pm, 2.00pm, 2.30pm, 3.00pm and 3.30pm.

Each tour will last 25 minutes and should be booked by a single social “bubble” only. The ten available slots can be booked via our website.

Bookings have priority, but casual visitors will be taken if no booked slots have been taken at the time.
