The National Library of Scotland will host limited capacity tours of George IV Bridge on Sunday 26 September.
See their events page from 8 September for further details and how to book. Attendees to adhere to 1m social distancing and wear face masks for the duration of their tour.
If you are passing-by the National Library on Saturday 25th September, on the way to other Doors Open Days venues, you are also invited to pop-in and visit the Library’s current free exhibition, ‘Petticoats and Pinnacles’, celebrating the lives of pioneering Scottish women climbers.

Drop in and see us at the Meadows on on Saturday 25 September between 2pm – 4pm.
No need to book and we will provide all the equipment. Just bring some flat soled shoes. Unfortunately we cannot offer refreshments this year but you will still get a warm welcome.

For Doors Open Days 2021, we will be open for in-person pre-booked guided tours on Saturday 25 September 2021.
The tours will take place at 11.00am, 11.30am , 12.00noon, 12.30pm, 1.00pm, 1.30pm, 2.00pm, 2.30pm, 3.00pm and 3.30pm.
Each tour will last 25 minutes and should be booked by a single social “bubble” only. The ten available slots can be booked via our website.
Bookings have priority, but casual visitors will be taken if no booked slots have been taken at the time.

Edinburgh Quakers welcome you to visit us on Saturday September 25th, between 12 noon and 4 pm. Information about the building’s history and its current role will be available, with volunteers on hand to answer questions.
