Stills: Centre for Photography

Stills is a centre for photography based in the heart of Edinburgh. Established in 1977, we have a long history of supporting the advancement, enjoyment, exploration and understanding of photography in Scotland.

Sadly, we are not able to offer in-person visits this Door Open Days weekend. Instead, we hope you will enjoy a “virtual visit” below on a short video tour of our gallery and facilities and we invite you to join us virtually on Facebook at 1pm on Saturday 25th September for a Visually Interpreted exhibition tour of Sekai Machache’s “The Divine Sky”, with Sekai Machache and Juliana Capes, presented by Stills and Edinburgh Art Festival.

“The Divine Sky” is an immersive multi-media installation, using poiesis, moving image, sound, photography, drawing and sculpture. We look forward to welcoming you!
