Keep Scotland Beautiful’s National Conversations: heritage and place
Tuesday 20 August
Join Keep Scotland Beautiful at this one-hour online event to hear from inspiring individuals and organisations taking action to improve places and restore our heritage.
The event will take place via MS Teams and we will have a panel of speakers representing communities and organisations working hard to keep Scotland beautiful.
The event will be chaired by our Chief Executive Barry Fisher.
Our panel includes Ginny Sharp, Historic Environment Scotland, Rachel Sedman, Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust, Martin Yeoman, Guided Tour Training participant, and partner schools involved in our Eco-Schools Heritage Topic pilot.
The event will showcase the work of Keep Scotland Beautiful’s Our Heritage, Our Future project, looking at how communities can get actively engaged with local heritage using place planning techniques, community-focused heritage training, and schools engagement.
This event is part of our series of National Conversations which will bring together influential, knowledgeable, and inspiring people and organisations to share experiences, insight and learning across the four strategic themes we work towards at Keep Scotland Beautiful.
