Edinburgh900 – Early Edinburgh Churches from about 800-1650

Edinburgh has several church buildings whose sites date from the early middle ages and before.  With a few exceptions they are not well known.  This talk will introduce them and show how they fit together and fit with the development of the Edinburgh area.

Professor Adam Cumming has a life-long interest in church architecture and history, particularly Scottish, and this led him to become a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland as well as membership of other related organisations.
