The church will be open to Doors Open Days visitors on Saturday 25th September from 10.30am-3.30pm and on Sunday 26th September from 12pm-3.30pm.
Social distancing and masks will be required. Stewards will be on-hand to ensure safe numbers.

The Kirk will be open to visitors from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 25th September and from 1pm to 4pm on Sunday 26th September.
Kirkyard tours will also be available from the Friends of Greyfriars Kirkyard.

We will be open to in-person Doors Open Days visitors on Saturday 25th September from 10.30am until 4.00pm. Guided tours will be available throughout the day.
All applicable COVID restrictions and guidelines will be in place. Please put on a face-mask and sanitise your hands before entering the church.

Our museum will be open Sat 25th September from 10am – 5pm and Sun 26th September from 1pm – 5pm. Our temporary exhibition will be John Muir, Earth, planet, Universe, examining how John Muir’s Legacy can inform the current fight against climate change.
Take part in children’s activities exploring the world of weights and measures which John would have grown us using in his father’s grain shop.

Doors Open Days activities will take place in the gardens around Preston Tower and Doocot on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September from 11am to 3pm.
Come along to the Tower gardens to join in with any of the activities, music, talks and find out more about the proposed developments. No booking required.

Please note that access inside Preston Tower and Doocot will not be available to the public at this time, but come and hear about the plans in progress to secure access to both in the near future.
Prestonpans train station (on the North Berwick line) is just a five minute walk away and the No.26 (Clerwood-Tranent) Lothian bus service stops even closer still just outside Hamilton House on West Loan.
If you plan to come by car, please park in the nearby Prestonpans Community Centre car park (see map below).
