Edinburgh Civic Forum
The Edinburgh Civic Forum was formed in the 1990s to strengthen the dialogue between civic groups in the capital and the City of Edinburgh Council. It also aims to encourage greater interest and involvement in planning.
Generally, matters concerned with the promotion, planning and control of change in the quality of their environment form its core areas of operation and include making a joint contribution to the formulation of a local plan and to the formulation of planning policies and making representations on the operation and interpretation of planning law and policy.
