Holyrood Royal Park – Access Issues

We believe that a strategic management plan needs to be prepared for the whole Park as a matter of urgency, with full public consultation and scrutiny.
The Cockburn Association, Scotways, Mountaineering Scotland and Ramblers Scotland have sent a joint letter to the Chief Executive of Historic Environment Scotland (HES)
As stakeholders with an interest in Holyrood Royal Park we have raised serious concerns about the restriction of access to the Radical Road and other matters.
We believe that a strategic management plan needs to be prepared for the whole Park as a matter of urgency, with full public consultation and scrutiny.
To take this matter forward, we have asked to meet with relevant members of the HES team.
