Surgeons’ Hall Museums Conservation Workshop

Have you ever wondered how the Surgeons’ Hall Museums maintain their vast collection of specimens? Join Cat Irving, Human Remains Conservator, as she explains how anatomical specimens are prepared and preserved, through different methods of treatment.

You’ll see first-hand, maintenance work taking place on the Supernumerary limb in our Wohl Pathology Museum.

The conservation drop-in is included in the price of standard museum admission. You will need to pay for your museum ticket on arrival, please bear this in mind when planning arrival time for the session.
