Kath Hay – The Killing of St Kilda
Sat, 6 Apr 2024
After thousands of years of thriving traditions and unique way of life, how come this close-knit community was destroyed. What – or who – was responsible?
Kath Hay has worked within the publishing industry for more than 45 years, with book, periodical and newspaper publishers in London, Melbourne and Edinburgh. She was appointed Head of PPA Scotland – the Professional Publishers Association – which supports magazine publishers, a post she held for 12 years. Currently, she is the Managing Editor of a local community magazine. Kath also has a keen interest in music; as a folk singer on TV and Radio during the 60s and 70s and also a member of Edinburgh Festival Chorus for 30 years. Kath enjoys presenting her Talks to many Associations and Clubs, both in and around Edinburgh and also further afield.
