Consultation workshop on the draft Edinburgh Local Heat & Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES) and Delivery Plan
6.00pm - 8.30pm Mon 29 Jan, George Square and Online
Relevant to all citizens, community led groups, voluntary organisations, responsible people and elected representatives in both private and public bodies …
The City Council has recently published its Edinburgh LHEES, at the request of the Scottish Government. The LHEES sets a plan for decarbonising heat in buildings in Edinburgh and improving their energy efficiency. The LHEEDP sets out the first stage of actions for delivering this strategy.
The Council’s consultation on them is now live and will remain open until the 3rd of March 2024. It’s a complex and important issue, which should be considered by us all, and which will benefit from good information and well informed consideration.
To enable this, our friends in Clean Heat Edinburgh Forum (CHEF) invite you to a Consultation Workshop in the evening of 29th January.
