Archaeology Teaching Workshop

Friday, May 17

We are inviting people from across the sector who can share their experiences of working with different audiences and using diverse engagement techniques which can be transferable to a higher education setting. This full-day event will be held in person, but there is the possibility of running it as a hybrid event if there is sufficient interest in online participation.

It is our hope that issues for discussion will be identified by participants/contributors in advance, and that it is not Edinburgh- or academia-centric. A key output could, in theory, be a framework for archaeology education (similar in format to ScARF research frameworks), which also identifies teaching ‘gaps’. You would be welcome to attend for as long or as little as you are able to. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Please respond to the question as to whether you plan to join online and a link will be sent nearer the time.
